East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), initially named East China Institute of Chemical Technology, is China’s first renowned institute featuring in Chemistry. Notably, the institute is located in Shanghai, which is a place steeped in heterogeneous cultures and famously attractive to talents far and near. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, the discipline of Chemical a8体育官网 and Technics was graded at A+, ranking the first of the State. Also, The discipline of Chemical a8体育官网 and Technics is included in the construction of CategoryⅠSummit Disciplines of Shanghai, and the discipline of Chemistry is included in the construction of Category II Summit Disciplines of Shanghai. Moreover, three disciplines – “Design Science”, “Environment and Ecology”, and “Intelligent Science and Technology”, has been participating in the construction of Category IV Summit Disciplines of Shanghai.
