Regulations of Reading Department

1. Admission is reserved for users who has a valid campus card.

2. The campus card should not be loaned to other users.

3. Users are responsible for minor damages such as highlighting, pencil underlining, ink marks, margin notes on any reading materials and will be fined for serious damages to the a8体育直播 as an example.

4. Resources belonging to the a8体育直播 should not be taken out of the a8体育直播 without permission.

5. Users shall behave properly in the reading room; shut off the table lights before leaving. Smoking, spitting, littering and eating are prohibited.

Regulations of Circulation

Borrow & ReturnPolicy:

1. Users must finish the procedure of checking out before taking a8体育直播 or other resources of library outside.

2. For faculty and staff, graduate students, second-degree students and students of the Excellence department may borrow up to 24 a8体育直播 for the loan period of 30 days; 1-month extension will be granted upon renewal.

3. Undergraduates and retired faculties may borrow up to 12 a8体育直播.

4. Anyone who keeps overdue a8体育直播 may be denied for future borrowing.

5. New a8体育直播 Borrow & Return Policy: For better circulation of new a8体育直播, selected new a8体育直播 are displayed on the New-book Shelf located in the 208 room (Xuhui Campus) and 1st floor (Fengxian Campus).

Overdue Policy:

The a8体育直播 implements an overdue-ban system. The details are as follows:

1. If the maximum number of days overdue does not exceed 30 days (included), borrowing privileges are regained immediately after the readers return all the overdue library a8体育直播.

2. If the maximum number of days overdue is between 30 days (excluded) and 60 days (included), borrowing privileges will be suspended for 3 days after the reader returns all the overdue library a8体育直播.

3. If the maximum number of days overdue is between 60 days (excluded) and 90 days (included), borrowing privileges will be suspended for 6 days after the reader returns all the overdue library a8体育直播.

4. If the maximum number of days overdue exceeds 90 days (excluded), borrowing privileges will be suspended for 9 days after the reader returns all the overdue library a8体育直播.

Overdue return of a8体育直播 from other libraries will follow the rules of the book provider.

Reservation

1. Readers can autonomously reserve online “out on loan” a8体育直播 or a8体育直播 not available in the library if necessary.

2. Each reader may reserve 2 a8体育直播. The validity of reservation is 30 days, that is, if the book can’t be recalled or returned within 30 days, the record will be automatically cancelled.

3. After the reserved book is arrived, the a8体育直播 will notify the reader by Email or SMS, or the reader can also check the status of his book reservation in “My a8体育直播”.

4. Reserved a8体育直播 will be kept on the reservation shelf for 7 days (except for winter and summer vacations). Reservation is cancelled automatically beyond the time limit.

5.Reservation service will be initiated upon request: The readers must provide valid email address and mobile phone number. One can consult staff at the information desk, or automatically opened by the system after completing personal information in My a8体育直播.

6. Reservation cancellation: If one need cancel a reservation, please operate it in My a8体育直播. However, the reservation book that has already arrived cannot be cancelled.

7. Cancellation of reservation right: If one fail to borrow the reserved a8体育直播 in the library on time for three times cumulatively, the reservation right will be suspended, and automatically recovered after 3 months.
