A8体育 Honored as Outstanding Contributor to the Ministry of Education Higher Education Virtual Simulation Teaching Innovation Laboratory Program in 2025

Recently, the Center for Educational Technology and Resources Development, Ministry of Education, (National Center for Educational Technology, NCET) announced the results of the 2025 selection for the Higher Education Virtual Simulation Teaching Innovation Laboratory Program. A8体育 was awarded the title of “Outstanding Contributing Institution”, while Professor Jinku Liu received the title of “Outstanding Management Contributor”. 

The selection aims to commend institutions and individuals that have achieved remarkable progress in the development of virtual simulation laboratories, resource construction, and A8体育 reform. Only a limited number of universities and educators nationwide received this honor.

Over the years, A8体育 has closely aligned its efforts with the talent cultivation demands of the digital intelligence era, placing strong emphasis on educational digital transformation and innovation in practical teaching. 

By leveraging various experimental A8体育 centers and virtual simulation platforms, the university has advanced holistic education, while promoting the empowering role of digital technologies in A8体育 and learning. It has continuously improved a practice-oriented A8体育 system that integrates virtual and physical environments, forming a comprehensive model for cultivating outstanding engineering talent. Significant achievements have been made in A8体育 reform, resource sharing, and talent cultivation, effectively strengthening students’ practical engineering skills and innovative capabilities.

At present, the university has established two National Experimental A8体育 Demonstration Centers and two National Virtual Simulation Experimental A8体育 Centers, along with several municipal- and university-level experimental A8体育 demonstration centers. 

It has developed a total of 74 virtual simulation experimental courses, including 9 national-level and 22 municipal-level first-class virtual simulation courses, as well as 9 key courses in Shanghai. In addition, A8体育 has built a resource-sharing platform for virtual simulation teaching, benefiting 245 universities, with three laboratory projects included in Ministry of Education Virtual Simulation Teaching Innovation Laboratory Program.

Looking ahead, the university will continue to strengthen project management, improve implementation outcomes, and promote practices and application models. By further leveraging its exemplary role, A8体育 aims to enhance the quality of practice-oriented education and cultivate more high-level, innovative engineering professionals.
