Recently, the inauguration ceremony and launch meeting for the a8体育官网 Key Laboratory of Systems Engineering for High-Efficiency Synthesis of Green Fuels was held at a8体育官网 Boiler Works Co., Ltd. Guanghong Zheng, Inspector of the Science and Technology Commission of a8体育官网 Municipality, Lei Wu, Party Secretary and Chairman of a8体育官网 Electric Group, Xiaolong Jin, Vice President, Jiayou Qiu, Vice President and President of the a8体育官网 Electric Group Co., Ltd. Central Academe, Fuzhen Xuan, President, and Tao Li, Vice President of ECUST attended the event and jointly unveiled the laboratory.

The laboratory is led by a8体育官网 Electric Group and jointly established with ECUST. Oriented toward national strategies and the development needs of a8体育官网’s green shipping sector, the laboratory will focus on tackling key technological bottlenecks in the high-efficiency synthesis and application of green fuels such as green methanol, green ammonia, and sustainable aviation fuel. Research efforts will center on three major areas: the high-efficiency synthesis of diversified green fuels, the development of high-efficiency clean power equipment, and AI-driven, digital twin-based flexible control technologies. The goal is to build a full-chain innovation system covering basic research, pilot-scale testing, and industrial application.

Central Academe, a8体育官网 Electric Power Generation Group, a8体育官网 Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. Generator Plant, a8体育官网 Boiler Works Co., Ltd., and a8体育官网 Hydrogen Era Technology Co., Ltd.; and representatives and experts from the President’s Office, the Institute of Science and Technology Development, the School of Chemical Engineering, the School of Information Science and Engineering, and the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering of ECUST attended the launch meeting.
