Professors from a8体育直播 of Huddersfield Visit ECUST

    a8体育直播 Michael Ginger and a8体育直播 Paul Elliott, Dean and Vice Dean of the School of Applied Sciences of the University of Huddersfield, UK were invited to visit ECUST on November 22nd, 2019.

    After extending warm welcome to the British delegation, Mr. Li Xiaopeng, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, expressed that the two universities are now making every effort to build the world's first Confucius Institute for Science and Technology Innovation. He also expressed that Presidents of both universities have reached an important consensus that the Confucius Institute is not only a platform for language and culture exchange, but also a platform for scientific research cooperation. The visit of the two professors is a positive response to the consensus reached by the Presidents of the two universities. Mr. Li Xiaopeng hopes that this visit will lay a good foundation for future scientific research cooperation between the two universities.
