International Symposium on Drug Discovery and Development Held in a8体育直播

    The Canadian delegation of four from School of Pharmacy, University of Toronto paid a visit to a8体育直播 during May 14 to May 18, 2013. They held a bilateral one-day seminar on the theme "Drug discovery and development."  on May 15, 2013.   Professor Tu Shandong, vice presidentof a8体育直播 attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech on behalf of a8体育直播. Professor Henry Mann, dean of the School of Pharmacy, university of Toronto, Professor Jiao Jiajun, director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, a8体育直播, Professor Xu Yufang, and Professor Tang Yun, vice deans of School of Pharmacy, a8体育直播, together with other  60 people attended the meeting.

    The cooperation relationship between School of Pharmacy, a8体育直播 and College of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, has been for years. This meeting is the first after the renewing of cooperation agreement  last year.  The seminar started with the brief  introduction of each school and university made by Professor Mann and Professor Xu Yufang respectively and then followed by the academic reports on  drug discovery and development.
